Kristen Butler is the Director of Media and Outreach at Be Well Kentucky. She has made a career out of communication with a background in radio and television, transitioning those skills into Public Relations, Marketing, Legislative Lobbying, and Social Media.

Kristen Butler is the Director of Media and Outreach for Be Well Kentucky. She brings a strong a background in radio and television journalism and leads Be Well Kentucky’s public relations, marketing, legislative lobbying, and social media efforts.

Advocating for mental health through education, outreach, and awareness is a passion for Kristen.  She has worked intimately with the Kentucky Eating Disorder Council as part of their Legislative and Advocacy Committee.  Kristen is the chair of the 2023 Louisville, NEDA Walk. Outside of work Kristen is a yoga teacher and enthusiast, enjoys watching jeopardy, learning new languages, traveling to new countries, and spending time with her husband, son, dog, and rabbit.
