Dr. Hayley Meadows leads Be Well Kentucky’s Lexington Branch under the direction of Dr. Alex Pruitt.  

Dr. Meadows is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in evidence based therapies for adolescents and young adults and has significant experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community.  Able to provide virtual therapy in 38 states through PSYPACT.

Dr. Hayley Meadows is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in evidence-based therapies for adolescents and young adults. She serves as the Assistant Director for Be Well Kentucky – Lexington Branch and supervises clinicians there.

Dr. Meadows earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Kentucky(UK) and completed her APA-accredited clinical internship through the UK Internship Consortium Program. She went on to serve on faculty at UK College of Medicine where she provided outpatient therapy and psychological assessments.  She has completed clinical training experiences at Adolescent Medicine, Family Medicine, and Orofacial Pain outpatient medical clinics; UK College Counseling Center; The Harris Psychological Services Center; Eastern State Hospital; and local schools.  

Dr. Meadows has experience with the treatment of OCD, anxiety-related disorders (including panic and phobias), mood disorders, ADHD, eating disorders, and trauma-related disorders.  She utilizes evidence-based treatments for these and other disorders including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), various forms of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). She also has considerable experience with psychological assessments and particularly enjoys working with people who are experiencing psychopathology for the first time in order to offer them a clear explanation and specific skills needed for recovery.

It is important to Dr. Meadows to be a safe and inclusive therapist for all gender identities.  She has significant experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and provides gender affirming care.

Dr. Meadows is licensed in Kentucky, has the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) in these states under the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT), and is also licensed to perform telehealth in Florida.

Dr. Meadows lives in Lexington where she enjoys spending time with her husband, young son, and  beloved dog.
