Dr. Hayley Meadows is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in evidence-based therapies for adolescents and young adults.

Dr. Meadows earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Kentucky and completed her APA-accredited clinical internship through the University of Kentucky Internship Consortium Program. Her graduate research focused on better understanding risk factors for adolescents’ and young adults’ engagement in high-risk behaviors. Dr. Meadows went on to serve on faculty at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine where she provided outpatient therapy and psychological assessments.
Dr. Meadows has completed clinical training experiences at Adolescent Medicine, Family Medicine, and Orofacial Pain outpatient medical clinics; The University of Kentucky College Counseling Center; and Eastern State Hospital (an inpatient psychiatric facility). She served as Assistant Director at The Harris Psychological Services Center, a community mental health center. During graduate school, she developed and co-led a DBT-based skills class for teens. Dr. Meadows enjoys assessment testing and has administered achievement, intelligence, ADHD, personality, competency, and diagnostic clarification assessments in a wide variety of settings.
Dr. Meadows has experience with the treatment of OCD, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and trauma-related disorders. She is trained in evidence-based treatments for these and other disorders including Exposure with Response Prevention (Ex/RP), various forms of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). She particularly enjoys working with individuals who are experiencing psychopathology for the first time in order to offer them a clear explanation and specific skills needed for recovery.
Dr. Meadows works to be a safe and inclusive therapist for all gender identities. She has significant experience working with the LGBTQ* community and provides gender affirming care.
Dr. Meadows is licensed in Kentucky, has the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) in these states under the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT), and is also licensed to perform telehealth in Florida.
Dr. Meadows lives in Lexington where she enjoys spending time with her husband, young son, and beloved dog.
