Eileen earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Notre Dame in 1994.  She has practiced at a variety of clinical settings:  university counseling centers, private practice, and inpatient settings.  Prior to moving to Louisville in 2022, Eileen worked at Northwestern University’s student counseling center where she coordinated the campus eating disorder team and provided outpatient counseling for college students with a variety of concerns.  

Eileen is passionate about working with individuals addressing eating disorders and body image concerns.  In addition, her experience as a generalist has prepared her for addressing other issues, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and relationship concerns. Eileen takes a cognitive behavioral approach to her interventions and integrates other approaches that support individuals in reaching their goals.

Outside of work, Eileen enjoys spending time with family and loved ones.  She is an avid fiction reader and loves time in nature.
