Dr. Alexandria Pruitt

 

Dr. Alex Pruitt is Clinical Director of Be Well Kentucky.  Based in Louisville, Dr. Pruitt oversees all clinicians and programs at both Louisville and Lexington Branches.  She is a licensed clinical psychologist  and eating disorder expert, committed to helping children, adolescents, athletes, and families.

Associate Director - Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Melissa Gibson serves as Associate Director of Be Well Kentucky.  Based in Louisville, Dr. Melissa oversees Be Well Kentucky’s student training program.  She is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in treating teens & young adults and is passionate about providing training and supervision.

Assistant Director - Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Hayley Meadows leads Be Well Kentucky’s Lexington Office under the direction of Dr. Alex Pruitt.  Dr. Meadows is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in evidence-based therapies for adolescents and young adult and has significant experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community. PSYPACT Licensed.

Dr. Cheri Levinson is the Founder of Be Well Kentucky.  Dr. Levinson is a licensed psychologist, health service provider, and clinical supervisor.  She is also an avid researcher focused on evidence based  eating disorder treatments. Licensed through PSYPACT.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Ricketts is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who specializes in treating across the life span.  She has a focus on the treatment of mood disorders, OCD, eating disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, substance abuse and chronic mental illness through psychiatric assessment and medication management.

Dr. Katherine “Kate” Price is a licensed clinical psychologist who has dedicated her training and practice to helping children, adolescents, and families with psychological diagnoses related to medical concerns and acute and chronic illnesses including eating disorders, anxiety, and OCD.

Dr. Broderick Sawyer has committed his training and practice to helping adults and adolescents with concerns related to Obsessive-Compulsive, Traumatic, Anxious, and Depressive disorders. He also works frequently with traditionally marginalized populations (e.g., BIPOC, sexual and gender minorities, etc.) struggling with identity-related stress.

Dr. Anna Marie Ortiz is a post doctoral fellow with Be Well Kentucky practicing under the supervision of Clinic Founder, Dr. Cheri Levinson.  She specializes in treating eating disorders in patients of all ages and is trained to treat OCD, trauma, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders. Provides virtual therapy in Kentucky.

Dr. Alexandra “Alex” Kelly is a temporarily licensed psychologist, under the supervision of Dr. Hayley Meadows, who specializes in evidence-based therapies for adults with a variety of presenting concerns including OCD, anxiety disorders and trauma.  Based in Lexington, Kentucky.

Brenda Arellano is a bilingual (Spanish and English) Licensed Psychological Associate. At Be Well Kentucky Louisville Brenda specializes in providing empirically-supported treatment for individuals of all ages suffering from OCD and anxiety.

 

Kristina Waters is both a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  She is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She primarily treats eating disorders and familial issues.

Lindsay James is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that specializes in the treatment of eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, OSFED, and ARFID, and has a certificate in trauma practice.

Sara Wallace is a licensed psychological associate who works with adolescent and adult populations with a history of substance abuse, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, learning disabilities, relationship problems, and dysfunctional family issues.

Jessica Dowell is a licensed psychological associate specializing in treating OCD, eating disorders, and body focused repetitive behaviors (BRFB).  She enjoys providing supporting and affirming care for the LGBTQIA+ Population.

Emma has worked with many intellectual and physical disabilities including but not limited to PICA, autism, down syndrome. She enjoys helping those with binge eating, or emotional eating to regulate eating patterns and reduce cravings and binging or overeating. Emma provides nutrition education on how to best support your body’s needs through building healthy habits and routines.

Michelle Eckhart has more than 20 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian and specializes in working with complex medical complications like cancer, gut permeability and microbiome issues, leaky gut syndrome, hypertension and can provide nutrition counseling focused on disease prevention. 

Meet Our Doctoral Student Therapists

We partner with Universities across Kentucky and the midwest region to train advanced doctoral students in pursuit of becoming a psychologist through direct one to one supervision by our expert senior psychologists. Doctoral students can provide reduced cost care to clinically appropriate patients.

Hayley Davis, MHA, MA

Student Therapist

A doctoral student therapist at the Behavioral Wellness Clinic, supervised by Dr. Melissa Gibson. Hayley is currently a third year graduate student in the Spalding University Doctorate of Clinical Psychology program. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology and Art from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky.
